Dr. John F. Murray is a former tennis professional as well as a clinical and sports psychologist in Palm Beach, Florida. He is the author of the best-selling book “Smart Tennis: How to Play and Win the Mental Game.” He has worked with hundreds of players on the ATP and WTA. He has been an official coach at the Australian Open and, and he has worked at all four major tennis tournaments and the 2008 Beijing Olympics as a sports psychologist.

Dr. Murray is a senior editor with Florida Tennis Magazine where his sports psychology column has appeared every month for ten years. He has also written for Tennis Week and Tennis Magazine. Tennis Week dubbed him “The Roger Federer of Sports Psychologists.”
